Megakelp Supplements
In an isolated sound off Vancouver Island, British Columbia, is the only kelp farm outside of Asia. It is in these sparkling clean waters that the kelp used by Vita-Kelp Enterprises grows.
The farm is lead by a leading kelp expert, marine biologist and botanist, a PhD scientist with over 35 years experience. Using harvest techniques adopted from Japan, the farm has been cultivating wild kelp as a food source since 1978.

Vita-Kelp uses two types of kelp for the highest quality kelp based nutritional supplements on the market today. One is used in the Omega product line, with extremely high concentrations of Omega-3 and 6 oils, known for helping blood flow, which reduces the chance of blood clots. The other, Laminaria, is renowned for its cancer fighting agents.
MegakelpTM offers:
- Omega Kelp Classic: contains concentrated nutrient tissues and vegetative blade. These are hand-selected from harvested plants.
- Omega Kelp Premium: contains only the tissues of the kelp, offering the most concentrated form of Omega oils. Made from the same species, Kelp Premium is faster acting than the Classic.
- Laminaria Kelp: contains hand-selected cuttings from the special Laminaria kelp. This is the kelp identified by researchers for its potential cancer fighting elements.
